My Story

Towards the end of 2021, my dad was diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer. This news came as a massive shock to us all, and he is now going through the steps to try and battle this awful disease.

Dad's been incredibly strong, stoic and positive throughout his treatment, which has not come without its own difficulties. I am so proud of him!

In June this year, Ben and I will be taking part in a MacMillan South Downs Marathon, to help raise money for the great work they do to support cancer patients and fund the research behind it.

Fight Bladder Cancer is another important charity to us, dedicated to raising awareness and funding research into bladder cancer, which unfortunately lacks awareness, funding and research. This often means it is caught too late, spreads and becomes incurable.

This marathon is special to my Dad, as it covers the beautiful area that he and Judy are lucky enough to live in... Let’s pray for some sun!
