My Story

Hi my name is David Ritchie and I was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer in October 2019. Prior to my diagnosis I was a keen runner and had completed 9 marathons with a target to hang up my marathon shoes and switch to shorter races once I had completed my 10th. I have been building myself back up following my treatment and plan to attempt to run my 10th, at the Blackpool Marathon on the 24th April 2022.

I am fundrasing to help the FIGHT BLADDER CANCER charity collect funds to raise awareness of this condition and help us all develop a better understanding of this disease.
