Thank you for deciding to take a Wee Walk for Bladder Cancer. As you may know, walking for bladder cancer is a global concept and people affected by the disease – whether they are patients, carers, family or friends, medical professionals or researchers – are all walking in solidarity across the world during May, to raise awareness and much needed funds to help fight this disease.
A Wee Walk doesn’t need to be ambitious, a challenge, or present obstacles (unless you choose to do it that way) rather it can be a slow, short amble, an opportunity to share stories, build friendship and just take in the countryside. As current restrictions are uncertain we encourage you to check and follow the current guidance and protect yourselves from the risk of Covid-19. Walks can be a very enjoyable way to come together in the memory of someone who has fought the disease, or in support of someone you care about who is undergoing treatment for bladder cancer.
Please get involved, spread the word and raise awareness of bladder cancer.
You might like to wear one of our t-shirts, or buy other items of merchandise, which means you can really help to raise awareness. Order them here: Fight Bladder Cancer t-shirts
